Role Play

We will divide up into the following groups รก 3-4 persons:

Work: Elsa, Max, Theodor
Gaming: Philipp, Leonid, Antonia, Jennifer
Retail: Tatsiana, Timur, Veronika Bar, Jakub
Education 1: Cristina, Vivian, Veronika Bab
Education 2: Tamara, Julia, Vincenz, Marcel
Robots: Kevin, Malte, Simon

On April 17, 2019 we will have 6 debates that will run on a very tight schedule. There are two persons conducting the debate, A and B. A may speak for a maximum of 5 minutes, B may speak for a maximum of 5 minutes. If there is a third participant (Gaming) then C has 5 minutes to present. Each presents his or her position, but may not answer the others. Then A has three minutes to refute B (and C), and B three minutes to refute A (and C), and if there is a C, they have three minutes to refute A & B. The rest of the groups will then vote on who wins.

Debate Work (2030):
The debate will be between Carly and Stern on the potential drone use. The class will vote on how United Games Corp. should use drones.
Debate Retail (2030):
The debate will be between Jeremy and Roger. Jeremy wants to use the robot services and apply for a Global loyalty card, which is available to kids starting at the age of 14. Roger is deeply opposed to Jeremy getting the card. The class will vote on whetere Jeremy should be allowed to obtain the Global loyalty card.
Debate Gaming (2029):
Roger, Jeremy, and Sophia will debate whether the family should purchase Star Games or Reality. The class will vote on which game is purchased.
Debate Education 1 (2035):
Roger will be debating the dean of Stanford Online. Roger is against 360-degree personality screening. The dean of the online university is defending the practice. The class will vote for or against personality screening.
Debate Education 2 (2035):
The dean of Stanford Online debates the dean of the first Goethe University about which educational scheme is better. The class will vote for Stanford Online or Goethe.
Debate Robots (2035):
Stern and a member of the Philosophy Board of the Future Lab will debate. Stern's role is to convince the philosopher to create a pet robot that serves people as nannies, pets, or friends. The philosopher does not want to replace humans with such pets. The class will vote on whether or not Future Labs will change its philosophy.
