Essay 1: Scenarios

Choose one of these two scenarios and write a short essay (2-3 pages) on the topic:

1. Write an essay about whether you would invest in an activity logging system if you were in charge of United Games Corp. Explain your decision. Also discuss whether you perceive the prediction algorithms that work on encrypted employee data as a privacy intrusion.

2. Write an essay on the social, economic, and technical benefits and drawbacks of the various privacy-management schemes offered by the Halloville Mall. What scheme do you prefer? Which one should Halloville Mall use as a default?
