Start the day off right with Dilbert,
who knows what life in the salt mines is like... And then continue with "For Better or Worse".
Computer Science Stuff
Didaktik Stuff
Intellectual Property Stuff
- Sara Baase: Gift of Fire home page. An excellent textbook about Ethics, Law and Computers
- ChillingEffects.org - the DMCA is getting out of hand, this is a wonderful resource for people with cease and desist orders. It also makes you wonder where free speech is going....
Stuff I like to read
- Spiegel online
- Wired
- AskTog: Tognazzi's rantings
- Jakob Nielsens Useit site
- Slashdot
- Tagesspiegel's "Wissen & Forschung" Seite - the only Berlin newspaper to report almost daily on the colleges in Berlin. Read all about your own department/school being closed/moved/renamed here, before you hear it from your own administration. The rest of the paper is useless and undistinguishable from the Mottenpest. And since their "relaunch" I don't even like to scan the paper, the new layout and fonts make me seasick..... If I could put my own paper together, I would take Page 2+3 from the "Berliner Zeitung", the local news from all, the college news and news-of-the-absurd from "Tagesspiegel", news from Germany and the world from "die tagesszeitung", sports from "Berliner Zeitung" (they report on Handball!), business news from the "Financial Times", and the TOM comic from "die tagesszeitung".
- The results from Berlin Handball - my current favorites are, of course, HSG OSC Schöneberg-Friedenau D Jugend I and "Alte Herren II"!
- The local rag in the south of Sweden: Sydsvenskan
