Missing Persons |
Every now and then I sit down and surf around
Google looking for some people I've lost contact with for some reason or
another. I've just decided to set up a list of the people, in the hopes
that some day they do an ego search and find my page! If you do find
yourself here - please drop me a line!
- Ute Hofmann, disappeared to Stegersbach,
Austria around 2005. Wrote letters for a while, then her email
disappeared.
- My cousin Ken Lowery - grew up in Florida, was
in Nebraska for a while. You were a kid when I went to Europe. Where are
you now?
- Elanna Roach Valley - a very good friend from
school in Tucker, Georgia, last known to be in Lawrenceville, Ga.
- Romeo Schulz - a companion of my son Rade in
1994/1995 in Hermsdorf, Berlin.
- Ms. (Janet?) Martin, my English teacher at
Crawford High School in 1974/75 (boy, does that date me!). You are
responsible for me going into computing - and I'd like to say "Thank
you!". Just had a letter (2004-07-01) from someone who had Ms. Martin as
a teacher in 1980-81 and felt, too, that she was a great teacher. She
had heard that Ms. Martin went on to some sort of high-level
administration job.
- Jana Altmann (or Allamann?), "PK" - Preacher's
kid. Her Dad was pastor at the First United Methodist Church in
Murrysville, PA around the end of the 60s.
- Mineko Oda from Kyoto, Japan. Was an exchange
student in San Diego, got married and moved to the north of Japan.
- Chayenne Borsdorff, from Wannsee. We haven't
seen you or heard from you since December 28, 2020. We'd be delighted
for you to contact us, we miss you!
Wow - reverse searching works! I put this page up
on Nov. 11, 2002. On April 26, 2003 I got the first message from Bina!
- Jakobina Marta G., was an exchange student
from Iceland in San Diego 73/74
She writes: "A colleague of mine found my name on your list of missing
persons." My family and I drove up to meet her and her family this
summer - what fun to meet back up again after 29 years!
- Pialena - We had a wonderful letter from you
on May 26, 2004 (although you didn't find us using the Internet, but
whatever) and have been corresponding since then! It was so nice to meet
you again in August and now to correspond with you regularly
- Ruth Reichwald Gale - old school friend from
San Diego, California. Last known to be teaching music in the wilds of
Montana. She found me on Facebook in 2009, so I guess Facebook is
winning over normal Google searching. I'm sorry to say that Ruth just
passed away in May 2010.
- Claes N., was an exchange student from Sweden
(Västerås) in San Diego 73/74. Found him through the Swedish telephone
listing that includes birthdays and Facebook.
