This colloquium will be in week 44 (October/November 2001) at the University of Trondheim. We will be discussing many aspects of the didaktics of on-line education.
I expect you to have read a good bit of background material so that we can have fruitful discussions. I also expect us to begin a virtual discussion with one another during the start of the Fall term 2001. We will be using an on-line repository for introducing ourselves to each other and the topics on which you are doing research and for getting to know one another by chat before we do our colloquium.
Assignments
The literature is in German and in English. I expect you to choose and read one of the articles about on-line curriculum and pedagogy and to give a short (10-15 minute) presentation on its contents to the group on Wednesday. Please prepare a half to a maximum of a full page report on your article. Include the full URL of the article. For Thursday pleas have read the chapters "Theories of learning" and "Intelligent Tutorial Systems" in Schulmeister.
I hope we will be able to explore interesting aspects that will be useful to you in the preparation of your theses. This site will be our "footprint" and a repository for information about the colloquium.
