General information

This semester we will be looking at topics in the area of pedagogical considerations for multimedia educational software.

The course meets Wednesdays from 9.45-11.15 in HG 116 for lectures and every other week in VG 207/218 for exercise sections. Instructor is Prof. Dr. Debora Weber-Wulff. The exam will be on January 31, 2001 in the lecture hall unless otherwise posted.

The exam will have 50 points, the project 40 and the two exercises 5 points each. The number of points earned will result in a final grade according to the grading scale. An extra 5 points can be earned by taking extensive notes in one of the lectures and publishing them on the net by the next lecture. This work can be done in pairs, if desired.

The project will be the development of a storyboard for a 90 minute on-line teaching unit on a topic from either Media Didaktics or Hypermedia. The storyboard work can be done in groups of 2 or 3 persons. The project is due on February 7, 2001. Both exercises groups should make arrangements to be present on that day, as each group will present their storyboard to the rest of the group.
